We wrote this prayer-paraphrase version of Eph 3:14-21 and used it every night at Spring Harvest Minehead 2015 (week 2) in the Hub celebration.

The words of the Bible passage are so good - with Trinitarian themes, empowering, expectancy and a sending out to mission. We found it worked both as a gathering, call-to-worship, and also as a sending at the end of the session.

You can download a regular (4:3) ratio version, or a widescreen (16:9) PowerPoint.

We come expectant, yet humbly
before our heavenly Father,
the one who names us,
the creator of heaven and earth.
From your abundance, Father,
give us the strength and power of your Holy Spirit,
so that Jesus himself might live inside us and through us.
With our roots going deep in your love
may your whole church reach out in your power,
embracing your endless, fathomless, eternal, perfect love;
beyond human knowledge, overflowing to your world.
We ask all of this for your glory,
to the praise of the 'Immeasurably More' God,
by your power,
through your Church,
for all generations,
into eternity.
Amen.
