Psalm 92 Call to Worship
Here is an interactive reading adapted from Psalm 92:1-4 (ESV), with illustrations by Gemma.
This reading uses verse 1 as a refrain for the congregation, repeating it throughout.
This could be used as a call to worship at the beginning of a gathered time, perhaps leading straight into a time of sung worship, or as an interactive Bible reading.
We've also included a PowerPoint with only backgrounds, if you would like to edit the text.
The reading is as follows:
All:
It is good to give thanks to the LORD,
to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
Leader:
to declare your steadfast love in the morning,
and your faithfulness by night.
All:
It is good to give thanks to the LORD,
to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
Leader:
to the music of the lute and the harp,
to the melody of the lyre.
All:
It is good to give thanks to the LORD,
to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
Leader:
For you, O LORD,
have made me glad by your work;
At the works of your hands I sing for joy.
All:
It is good to give thanks to the LORD,
to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
Amen.
