We've been meeting twice a month with some friends as Park Church since October 2016. It is part of our experiments with Outdoor Worship. The group is made up of mixed ages and backgrounds, and aims to be a missional form of church.

This is a great praise shout that you can use at the beginning of an outdoor worship time. It was written by Lou and Jeremy Williams, and we've edited a bit to make it usable in places other than Park Church. Explain that after each phrase people should respond "God is here". If you wanted to develop it further you could use some actions or sign language for "God is here".

As we gather in this place - God is here
Praise him in this outdoor space - God is here
Walking, running, standing still - God is here
Down the valleys, up the hills - God is here
Praise him all you flying birds - God is here
Praise him all you digging worms - God is here
Praise him all you lofty trees - God is here
Praise him beetles, bugs and bees - God is here
