On 28th September 2024, around 40 people gathered to celebrate 40 years of the Music and Worship Foundation. This is the charity which runs Engage Worship. It was a delight to be joined by people who have served MWF from across the past 4 decades - some of the original trustees from 1984, through the eras of MWF regions right through to involvement in Engage Worship and Evergreen today. After the event one attendee emailed to say:

"It was great to reflect on the past vision and activities, but also equally to cast pearls of vision and wisdom for the future. It's interesting, how in so many ways the same, original, vision is still as relevant and needed as ever, even if resources and dissemination are now much more developed and available."

We heard from Noël Tredinnick (an original trustee), Roger Peach (regional training leader from 1997-2011), Sara & Sam about the past 18 years of Engage Worship's ministry and from Timo & Gemma about Evergreen. We also had a wonderful lunch, and spent time in prayer and worship together.

Below is a video of greetings from people who couldn't be there but wanted to send their thoughts and prayers - Jeremy Begbie, Geraldine Latty and John Leach.

We launched a new way of supporting our work at this event - Friends of Engage Worship. This is made up of people who want to give monthly to what we do. View this video to hear three short testimonies about our work:

Thank you to everyone who made this day such a rich celebration!
