Psalm 67 interactive prayer and praise reading

Psalm 67 is wonderful because it reminded Israel (as it should remind us) that we are blessed to be a blessing to the whole world. God chooses us in order that we will share his light and life with all of creation. This interactive and visually stimulating version of Ps 67 makes use of the repeated refrain "May the people's praise you, may all the peoples praise you", and also leaves space for intercessory and thanking prayers from the congregation.

You will need to decide a tune to sing the refrain. We would suggest the first two lines of the hymn “Holy Holy Holy”, (although you need to add a syllable at the end of line one and the beginning of line two), but you could choose another one, or write a simple tune yourself. Quiet music could continue under the reading of the Psalm and the open prayers. As the leader, watch out that on the final side you speak the Psalm and then sing - this might catch you out!
