Looking for training, input and inspiration in creative, innovative worship for your youth band, worship group or leadership team? We've got a growing bunch of trainers who would love to share their gifts, experience and passion with you.

A training day usually costs £175 plus travel, but if this is an issue you can discuss this with the trainer. You may wish to consider opening your day up to other churches or youth groups local to you, to share the experience and cost. Most of our trainers are also up for traveling locally to do evening sessions at £30 per night. They may also be able to lead worship at events or services (see below).

Can run a training day in:

Communicating the Bible - from readings to dramas.
All Age Worship - including storytelling and drama.
Writing scripts, performing.

Prepared to travel:

South East, South West and South Coast (London / Brighton base). May also be prepared to go further afield - Midlands and North.

Can also be booked to: Perform biblical material, one-off sketches or a whole show. Make Bible readings (original or adapted) on film.

Biography:

Abby Guiness heads up the creative arts at Spring Harvest which involves all aspects of their work and programme. Prior to that she was Arts Director at Holy Trinity Brompton, including a responsibility for all age worship. She is also a freelance actor and writer with a passion for communicating scripture. She has worked with Lacey Theatre Company, Riding Lights, Springs Dance Company, New Wine, Detling and Greenbelt. Developing creative worship beyond music.
Drama (script writing and directing).
Producing creative videos (would need church / group to have own equipment).

Prepared to travel:

South West

Can also be booked to: Organise creative, non-musical worship (eg. prayer stations) and stand-alone sessions (eg. a day using works of art to study our relationship with God).

Biography:

Chloe lives in Devon with her husband Nick and their daughter Ella. They are volunteer leaders at their church and run an alternative worship stream in the evening service called 'Creative Space'. Chloe spent two years working in creative arts ministry at a church in London and now works as a broadcast journalist for BBC News Online.

Matt Osgood

Can run a training day in:

Band dynamics and arrangement, including vocals.
Developing your worship leading skills.
Worship song-writing.

Prepared to travel:

London / South East. Can do some evenings in West London / M3 / M4 corridors.

Biography:

Matt has been a Worship Pastor since 2004 and is currently working at St Stephen's, Twickenham. He has a degree in Music from York University, and has led worship and played in bands at Spring Harvest, New Wine youth, and New Word Alive. He is one of the founders of RESOUNDworship.org, a free worship song resource, and in the distant past was a rapping schools worker.

Can run a training day in:

Developing creative worship (youth and adults).
Combining worship and justice / mission / everyday life.
Band / worship leading skills with young people.

Prepared to travel:

South / East and Central England. Will also do evenings in the Cambridge area.

Can also be booked to: Lead music and / or creative worship at events and services (not Sundays).

Biography:

Sam and Sara run engageworship.org as part-time employees of the Music and Worship Foundation. Sam is Worship Pastor and St James Hemingford Grey. They both completed the Theology, Music and Worship degree at LST. Sam also co-leads RESOUNDworship.org, a new songs website.
