Contagious Perfume

Written By:
Sara Hargreaves
Bible Refs: John 12:3, Matt 28:19

In the mingling before the service, send someone out to greet as many people as possible. Let this person put on some – expensive is best! – perfume on their hands.
Later on in the service, ask people to smell their hands – they might be surprised to find them smelling of unknown perfume! Can be used to talk about the contagiousness of the fragrance of Jesus, evangelism etc.

Sara co-leads engageworship.org together with husband Sam, drawing from her experience in music, worship and youthwork. She is also a mum of two wonderful children and they all live in groovy Luton.
