We're so excited about these 10 beautiful Christmas fractal pics Richard Lyall has just provided (under a Creative Commons Licence, see the note in the zip file).  Below are some thumbnails, but download the zip file to get the full glory.  These are great for adding some visual, abstract creativity into your Christmas services - they could accompany songwords, readings, illustrate talks or just be pieces for people to meditate on.  Enjoy!

Richard Lyall is a self-confessed creative geek. In a previous life he was an Anglican priest, and before that he worked in educational multimedia. He currently works part time as an IT lecturer at Liverpool Hope University and also as a freelance designer. His great passion is to see digital creativity released for the glory of God in the church and the nations, and believes that God is stirring up the creative arts to a whole new level as he prepares the Bride for the return of Jesus.

Thanks folks ... glad you're enjoying them.

I've done a simple "how to" guide so you can make your own! Hopefully that should be appearing here soon. Software is Windows only, sadly, unless you know of similar tools for Mac, anyone? I hear that Quartz Composer is pretty nifty on Mac if you can get your head round it.

Ali - can you not just put them into a PowerPoint presentation? Not quite sure what you're asking - give us some more detail and I'll try and help further.

used these at the start of a 'candle light' carol service, with some music played underneath. They were great for setting the mood and creating a reflective atmosphere.
