When the waves are high
And our faith runs low
Under stormy skies
Jesus won’t let go
Jesus needed peace and rest, he’d had a busy day
he told his friends, “let’s row across the lake!”
He found himself a comfy spot, the boat began to sway.
He closed his eyes and couldn’t stay awake.
Refrain
Suddenly, the weather changed! A storm began to brew!
The winds were fierce and water drenched them all.
Jesus’ friends were scared and didn’t quite know what to do.
The boat, it rocked with waves as high as walls.
