This version of Exodus 34:29-35 uses repetition to help the congregation reflect on the words. Read slowly and invite the listeners to close their eyes, and listen out for God's word to them.

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai.

he was not aware that his face was radiant
because he had spoken with the Lord.

When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant.
