A Reminder of the Gospel
A very straight reading of Paul's summary of the gospel in 1 Cor 15, but made fun and engaging by a second character who interjects, clarifies and adds humour. A great all-age Bible reading with an important message.
Extract of the script:
Paul: Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you...
Q: Preach it, brother!
Paul: ...which you received...
Q: We did!
P: ...and on which you have taken your stand.
Q: We have!
P: By this gospel you are saved...
Q: Praise the Lord!
P: ...if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
Q: I'm hearing you loud and clear.
So, remind me again, what was most important?
P: For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance...
Q: Aha, important thing number 1!
P ...that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures...
Q: And thing number 2?
P: that he was buried
Q: Thing number 3?
P: that he was raised on the third day according to Scriptures, and...
