Remembrance - Hope
We used this Power Point file as part of an act of Remembrance last year. Our music team played 'What a Wonderful World' (made popular by Louis Armstrong) as the slides scrolled round. The idea for the music came from the film 'Good Morning Vietnam' used (in that case) as juxtaposition against the harsh images of war. However, rather than leave it at a place of hopelessness we wanted to consider the hope that Christ brings into all situations - including war. The music therefore goes on to provide a backdrop for the images of hope in conjunction with the Bible references.

But it was really well received, and the choice of "What a wonderful world" to go with it was brilliant - the clash between the images and lyrics in the first half was profound, but then added to the hope in the second half.
