Freedom - Mime
A group mime to music about bring our burdens to Jesus, and the way he can remove the power they might have over us. It closes with the invitation from Matt 11:28 ""Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Cast: 5 people (1-5), Jesus, voiceover person
Props: each of the 5 people carries a large grey pebble/stone
Jesus carries a black bin bag, inside this there is a Weetabix, painted the same colour as the rocks, you may need to place this in a plastic box, to stop it being damaged by the other stones
The stage should also be littered with pebbles/rocks
Suggested background music - "I wish I knew how it would feel to be free" by The Lighthouse Family.

Shut their eyes for a moment, take a deep breath, then open their eyes, smile and nod at Jesus. He nods back and person 1 walks off, noticeably happier.
Person 2 enters, nervously approaches Jesus with their rock, then pulls back and hovers in the background as 3 and 4 enter. Jesus picks up another rock off the floor. Persons 3 and 4 walk on together. They mime chatting, then, as they draw near Jesus, they each place their rocks in the bag, pause for a moment, then resume their conversation and leave together. Jesus picks up another rock off the stage...
