Ephesians 2 reading
This is a reading from Ephesians 2 (The Message version), which we use in our 'Count me in' celebrations.
We tend to ask our band to improvise underneath the reading, aiming to reflect some of the words and themes of the text. Alternatively, you may use the chords from the attached song and keep a gentle pad going throughout the reading.
We then use the song where it's indicated in the script, as a response and development to the text.
The 3-part piece is very easy to learn, but effective if built up sensitively (we have waited with the men's part until the second time around, to add effect).
Of course, the reading, the powerpoint and the song can be used separately in whatever context you find suitable! Let us know below how you get on.

I have been singing this song out loud and in my head for the entire week since and it has provided strength in some difficult moments.
I'm hoping we can use this in our church's Easter Celebration. Many thanks -- Graham
