Transform video

This video was originally made as an intro to Youthwork the Conference 2009.  I've recently tweaked it so it could be used in any setting, including the recent Worship Beyond conference and our local Sunday night service.  The concept is if we want to see our communities and world transformed for Jesus, we first have to let him transform our own hearts.  This means it can be used equally well at the beginning or end of a service.

The track is taken from Steve Leach's CD Right here in this room (with permission), and features a sermon sample from Steve Chalke.   Download the full version from the box above right (log in, right click and choose 'Save As') - there is an mpg which will play on PCs, through PowerPoint or song projection software.  Or there is a mov (Quicktime) file which will run on Macs, or on PCs with Quicktime

Sam co-leads engageworship.org with his wife Sara. He completed the LST degree in Theology, Music and Worship, and now teaches in the department two days per week. He also co-leads RESOUNDworship.org, the free worship song website, and has led musical and creative worship at events like Spring Harvest, New Wine North and the Baptist Assembly alternative stream. Their book 'How would Jesus lead worship' was published by BRF in 2009.

This is wonderful! It could only be stronger with the use of God's name verses pronouns. There is power in God's name! To utilize pronouns when we could use God's name is to paint a smaller picture of God verses a larger one. I so appreciate all of your work, please consider using names of and for God more and pronouns less. God be glorified!
