Our church community is starting to get ready for the Open Doors day of prayer for the persecuted church on Nov 6th, on the theme of "Secret Children". A bunch of resources including vids, Ppt, service plans are available on their website - take a look.
For me, this feels like an important way for the church to interact with some of the more challenging sides of worship, as we pray/reflect/engage/lament with our brothers and sisters who worship in much harders situations than most of us will ever experience. Guy is from Bloxham near Banbury, proud parent of Dan and Anna and excellent husband to Caron. Likes guitars, bikes, creativity and food with friends. He works part-time at Banbury Community Church co-ordinating the music and worship and is a self-employed guitar tutor. He has also studied Theology Music and Worship at London School of Theology.
