This PowerPoint of various biblical names of God was made for Youthwork the Conference. It is designed to help people reflect on the varied sides of God's attributes and character. It could be used with live or recorded music underneath as a meditation during a worship time, or as the opening of a service. We have also used it in a home group situation, leaving space at the end for people to pray in response to the names which spoke to them.

Sam co-leads engageworship.org with his wife Sara. He completed the LST degree in Theology, Music and Worship, and now teaches in the department two days per week. He also co-leads RESOUNDworship.org, the free worship song website, and has led musical and creative worship at events like Spring Harvest, New Wine North and the Baptist Assembly alternative stream. Their book 'How would Jesus lead worship' was published by BRF in 2009.

Yeah like that....powerful with cool backdrops.....'mother hen gathering chicks' - ofetn a way that I like to describe God !!!!

Could you help though, while it was being shown there were different thoughts being read over the top. Any chance that these are availablet too?

Sorry I've been a while in responding to this. Our DJ at Youthwork did a live mix over the visuals, using samples from the main speakers, but also bits of 'My King' by SM Lockridge.

I'm afraid we don't have it for download (although we are working on getting some stuff from Steve), but you can download the SM Lockridge prayer (with or without a backing track) from http://www.churchnext.net/resourcing_free_up_indescribable.shtml

Used this last night in Small Group as we are just starting a study of the Names of God - so apt!! Very much enjoyed by group members - and Angelwave track worked well, was exactly the right length!! Brill, thanks Sam

Hoping to use the names to inspire Advent cries, praying through the Bible for Biblefresh, with powerpoint and background music as we pray. Thank you for the inspiration - the pictures are more 'edgy' than the usual 'inspirational' scenes!
