This is a re-telling of Jesus "setting his face" towards the cross in a poetic form (it uses the scan and rhyme of a limerick). It touches on themes of commitment, purpose and focus on God's calling. It could be used when comissioning people or sending them out.

The repeated "chorus" could be taught to the congregation, so that they joined in with it each time. You could make up some simple actions for it.

Jesus set off for Jerusalem.
Jesus was on the way.
His goal was in sight,
no left turns and no rights,
Jesus was on the way.

He wanted to stop in Samaria
but they didn't want him to stay.
James and John said
"Send fire on their heads!"
Jesus told them off, straightaway.
